Fulbright Day: Mexico – November 10

Promotional graphic for Fulbright Day: Mexico with blue text that reads "It's Fulbright Day in Mexico!"

As the Mexico-U.S. Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange (COMEXUS) celebrates the Fulbright Program’s 75th Anniversary and its own 30th year of existence, November 10 serves as “Fulbright Day” in Mexico! This day will kick off with interactive posts and stories on social media, inviting followers and alumni to answer Fulbright trivia and share their grant experiences via the COMEXUS and U.S. Embassy accounts, which you can view here.

In early evening, at 6:00 p.m. EST, we will launch our Fulbright Anniversary Discussion Series (Conversatorios) with a livestreamed talk featuring three Fulbright-García Robles alumni involved in visual arts history, and curation, via Facebook Live. The talk will be bilingual and registration is not necessary. We will continue with this Discussion Series through December with biweekly alumni talks on binational themes of economics, security, migration, education, human rights, environment, and humanities/social sciences. Throughout October and November, we have also been sharing #ThrowbackThursday posts to commemorate the anniversary.
